Put out at first light on hwy 31 near Hartselle. Fished jigs under a cork from 3-5 feet and without a cork, flippin' and SLOW vertical jigging around tree tops and lay-downs. Most fish came from the edges (ends) of the lay-downs and tops over 10-14 feet of water. Most hits came from 5 to 9 feet deep. Another slow day. Finally managed to land 11 keepers and plenty of small ones. Stayed out all day to do that. Water surface temp was 42 degrees and clarity was about 2 feet in most places. Pretty clear water for Flint and almost no current at all.
Come on RAIN!!! And the warmer weather that is predicted might also help...
