DATE: 12-08-00
SURFACE TEMP: 57*F am - 62*F pm

CRAPPIE: Slow, what fish are being caught are deep on the old river channel edges.
On a good day 15 to 25, all decent fish.

BASS: Bass fishing still pretty strong.Rat'l traps and shallow diving
crank baits working the best.4-8 ft. deep.Working the shoreline, sandbars
and humps.

CATFISH: Catfish biting all over the lake.Cut bait seems to be the
best.Jugs and trot lines also work well.Come get em!

STRIPE:Stripe fishing is as good as I have ever seen it, alot of stripe are being caught in the 15 to 20 pound range. Very
large numbers being caught, some stringers 50 to 60 fish. Best bait at this time chrome and blue and chrome and black,
Rattle Traps.

BREAM: Good catches of bream, hand size, around any dock or structure
with a little bit of water under it.

As you can still see we are still very low on Weiss.*AGAIN* I caution
you when traveling the lake to be careful.Just take it easy and you will
be fine.

As always do not hesitate to give me a ring or email as I am always glad
to help anyone that I can whether you need a guide or not. Good Fishing
to Everyone and have a great holiday season :-) Steve
