Back about mid-april me my dad and my brother fished those coves straight across from waterfront and did quite well. The grass was already almost at the top of the water though and the fish had moved out, there were mostly gar in there. There are some lily pads that were starting to grow out there and we caught several good fish around 3-4 pounds. But Mark is right about the fish being moved to the deeper water. Where is the place to be fishing on the lake at this time of year? Should you fish the banks or what? Thanks for all the advice.
