2 places, one deep edges next to the river from 12ft to 18ft down(deeper if is hotter or the cover is there) and 2, they are still under the bridges ,around the pilings suspended, but it takes the sun being on the other side of the planet and a bright light to get them to bite, and finally patience!! HA! in other words tie up under a bridge from about 9pm till ......with a bright lantern.Take a little mosquito repellent too, since they usually looking for a meal too.As for them weighing 2 lbs, that might be tough since they just spawned a month ago and are now waiting the minnow build up for the fall feeding frenzy, but there will be few no doubt..good luck.
