I went Friday with a good friend to Guntersville and we had a fantastic day. We ended the morning around 11:00 AM with 60 GOOD crappie. We started the morning kind of slow but it did not take long to figure the crappie out. They had moved on me about 75 yards but once located minnows and jigs seem to do the trick. My friend caught more fish than me on this trip so I hope his head does not swell! Kidding aside, he is a outstanding crappie fisherman-------once you show him the fish-----BIG SMILE :) Water temperature is in the mid 50's. Water was exstremely clear. Largest fish weighed 1.89 pounds and had 13 that weighed well over the 1.25 mark. My friend is chomping at the bit to go again! Goodluck and wear those life jackets and kill switches!!!!!!
