The only salt I caught was about the size of a bream. I sure as heck would hope they didn't...the salts I caught under the Decatur river bridge were between 6 and 7lbs...and pulled like a freight train. It made me wonder whether they had mislabled my medium heavy rod... They...of course...were pulling the river at the time. That is the best eating fish i've had. They did taste the same as the saltwater stripe I ate in Jersey though. I was surprised when we went out to eat there...they served drum on the menu...black drum. That was before I heard of people fishing for them. It's a little different situation with saltwater and freshwater drum. I ordered it and was pretty darn good too! As far as saltwater fight...try hooking a nice sandshark with a strong outgoing tide at the edge of an inlet...with a medium heavy uglystick spinning combo. That will redefine "pull like a freight train".
