Sounds like a dream pond... at least in size... hard to manage a big lake though. I have also heard that shellcrackers are very aggresive and sometimes hard to manage in ponds. If the owner is looking for more recruits to conduct some of that hard work catching fish, let me know.

At Chamber County Lake, they once put stuff on the surface near the shores to starve the water from oxygen and kill some of the small overabundant fish. Seems like it was called rhotenone... not sure about spelling... May be an alternative if the guy is serious about management. I guess you can always contact the county extension folks for much better advice than I can give... not that you were soliciting advice... hehe.
