With the rain friday I expected the crappie to turn on by today, but I couldn't find them... at least not many from the bank.
I tried the boat ramp behind the sewage plant, the pumps and hwy 67 this morning. I finally managed to catch 6 at hwy67 of which 3 were pretty nice, about 3/4 pounds each. I didn't catch any at the other places and didn't try the causeway bridge on Hwy 31 because of the wind. If I haven't caught the cold my son has, I will try again tomorrow.
