This is a late post but I have been out of town for the holiday. I went November 22 with a good friend and we ended up catching 35 crappie before the wind blew us off the river. The fish were on the small side but never the less, good keepers. I let one get off at the boat that would have went well over 2 pounds. I rushed the fish and tried to lift it over the side of the boat. I know better!!! Fish were caught on a mixture of baits including minnows under a slip cork, cotton candy tube jigs and white bassassins. Fish were holding in 22 feet of water and the bite was very suttle. All in all we did ok but I after a trip several days prior, I thaught we would really catch some good ones. Water temperature was 57.3F. Will try again after the holiday weekend. Good luck and wear those life jackets.
