The water is fairly calm after you get behind the turbine discharge boils but there are two pipes on the back wall that you need to watch out for. They are about 6' above water level and approximately 12" in diameter. Sometimes no water comes out of them ... sometimes a little bit of water comes out of them ... and sometimes a lot of water comes out of them. If your boat is under one of these when the water starts flowing you can get a large amount of water in your boat in a few seconds. As you enter from the river the three "holes" on your left behind # 4 are dead ends and should not be entered. The other 10 or so are linked together and you can drive your boat along the length of the powerhouse behind the boils of #1 #2 & #3. WEAR YOUR LIFE PRESERVER!!!
