Back in my young and dumb days...I spooled a fisherman accidentally. I was 100 yards from the shore at Mallard Creek and some guys were catfishing on the bank. I thought....I have PLENTY of space from my boat and the bank. Next thing I know I see one of their rods take off towards the water. I see the guy try to set the hook and the guy that was in sitting in a chair beside him was running around frantically trying to help. The line snapped....then I notice my trolling motor going MUCH slower and so I pulled it up to check the prop. Sure enough...a rat's nest of fishing line. That was 9 years ago and I didn't have the heart to tell the guys.....they had held up their hands to one another telling how big the thought the fish was. Kinda off topic but I had to mention it.

Joe
