I agree JD, I don't like flourocarbon or co-polymer on my baitcasters. A couple of tips with it on spinning reels: 1) Use a palomar knot 2) It builds up heat very easily, so when you set the knot put some spit on it to lube it up to avoid friction. 3) When you tighten the palomar, pull the tag end not the line end so that the heat buildup is not on the main line. 4) Loosen the drag a little like you would with braid, because of the low stretch it needs a little give on the hookset.

Also, on a seperate note: Spray Reel Magic on the spool of any reel regardless of line type. It is unbelievable how much it helps and how much longer you can use line before it has to be replaced. I try to remember to spray the line on my reels after every trip, it makes it have alot less memory the next time out.
