Fished Sunday aternoon again at the dam. Things seem to have quieted down some from last week . No stripers to speak of and a lot of just hanging out and watching the water blow through after they turned it on in the eveninig. Caught a bunch of skipjack but could not get the stripe or smallmouth on sassy shad or on live shiners. Didn't see anyone else do a whole lot better. A few hybrids here and there and a couple of short smallies but overall just dead. If anyone else did any better then I would love to hear about it What time of the year do the small mouths usually move up and start feeding below the dams?? I've heard about the fall but figure they probaably feed heavy in the spring too. Still kind of new the whole boat experience below the dam and on the lake too for that matter. (Just got a boat last year, my first). Good Fishing to everyone and thanks to Kerry for making the premiere site for fshing in the entire Northern half of Alabama.
