Thanks to all that made suggestions. Ended upstaying in Rogersville. Reasonable, clean, and parking for boat. Me and the wife caught several Hybrides, many skipjacks, some buck bass and "no crappie." Really had a good time. Everything caught on drifting shiners, shadraps, and bombers.
First time in the tailrace. Lots of work, but also lots of action.
