Miller's Ferry (Dannelly Reservoir) is a really nice place to fish. There is so much water and great cover and structure. Try to purchase a reservoir map and a waterproof marker. It will be well worth a few dollars and it will be easier for you to find your own spots. My favorites during the Spring are Pine Barren Creek and Buzzard's Roost. Both are full of timber though so be careful! Also, try just around the main island in Chilatchee Creek, especially the back side of the island where it drops off to deep water. A great spot. And further back on the south bank are some fallen trees that hold fish. Fish are beginning to chase shad actively so the choices for me would be a white spinnerbait, a Shad Rap or a Shad jerkbait, in that order. Vary the retreive to find the best bite.
Remember others through courteous sportsmanship and have a great time.
