i was able to catch them in 25-40 feet of water last summer with a 12' radius net above the dam, between the dam and the daymark on the south bank across from 1st creek. my success rate was fairly low, however. i'm going to try an underwater camera this summer and a new 12' net with 1/2" mesh. the shad i was catching were coming up on the surface and i was able to track them with my trolling motor and see them on my graph.
