Hey Kerry-im gonna give away one of my secrets. We have been fishing down there at the dam on the catwalk almost every other friday night (usually after 11 pm, till about 3 am) since august. We have limited out the last 4 times (5 per person limit).
Dont expect any big fish-i have caught one that might have been 15 inches, but most are in the 10-12 inch range. Powerbait on bottom or on a cork, live worms, small crankbaits, jigs, bass assassins, etc all work, but powerbait is the best.
The best time is for sure at night, and the better days are after recent stockings (of course), and days they run power all day and cut it off around dark. But weve still caught them at night even if they did not run power!
