And more WORDS OF ADVICE:...With ANY Spillways open or just the turbines operating....If you get there and have a WEST WIND...BEWARE!!...Winds from the WEST, with Water flowing West out of the Dam Creates A MALSTROM(Sp?)!! Starting just below the Power Lines WEST/Downstream Almost ALL THE WAY TO TOWN CREEK.... I've seen 6 to 8 FOOT "ROLLERS" in that ENTIRE area, AND lots of SWAMPED Jon Boats in this condition....I Hunted with a TVA Water Patrol guy who Stated That was the MOST DANGEROUS AREA in the entire River System...Good Luck....Bill
