Jeff what we need right now is RAIN and COLD weather. I have mostly crappie fished the last couple of trips but I always keep a rod in the boat for bass. Brownscreek has some really good ramps. I have been catching bass in Guntersville on top water in the early morning hours. Try the mouth of Alreds and also try the millfoil fields in Brownscreek. I have been throwing a small pop-r in bone color. After the sun gets up I have been doing fairly well on a 3/8 ounze black and blue jig with a black zoom trailer. Pitch the jig right at the grass line and let it fall to the bottom. Watch for the strike while it is falling. Spinner baits are doing fairly well but I have had the best luck on the lures I mentioned earlier. Good luck!
