We put in at the sewage plant in Decatur about 10:15 and headed downstream. Didn't find many until we got into shallow water (6 foot deep) and managed to catch a few under a cork and without using limetreuse and natural colors about 4 feet deep. Don't know what the final total we kept was, but it was less than 15 crappie and a couple of spots. Stocking a pond.
Biggest crappie was probably right at a pound or a little more. Wind was strong out of the south, so we stayed near the south bank, but the ride was not that bad except for open sloughs! We got wet in those areas with a little white-capping.
I think we got in just about all the good fishing we could before the heavy rain set in. We got wet on the ramp getting the boat out at about 2 or 2:30pm.
Good luck and good fishin'
