You might try the small bridge at Honeycomb. If you are travelling toward Guntersville on 431, there is a ramp on the left just past the bridge.
The bridge has been known to produce crappie at times. I have caught a few there, but apparently haven't ever been there at just the right time.
You can use your trolling motor to get under that bridge and if your outboard is working, you may want to go to the right after you leave the ramp and go to the bridge in the back of that slough. I have caught a few around the pilings there.
For something a lot closer, simply put in at Ditto and try fishing around the boat slips and in the creek that runs out of that area. Aldridge creek? I think.
