Larry, I do not mind giving out info on areas I dont FARM! You stated you go down to the camp grounds, you are real warm! Right across from the camp grounds there is a inlet that NASA use to use back in the early days. Standing on the concrete barge dock you will see some barge tie offs out on the main river channel. The one you want to fish will be the down river side one. If you walk out on the tie off, fish back into the slue. You want the jig about 20 feet out and let the current swing the bait back into the tie off. There is huge tree down there about 16 feet deep. The crappie like to stack up right behind this tree when current is present. Keep in mind that they are not always there. If there is no current you will be waisting time! Good luck!
