Your page is very well done! It helped me a LOT with a report I just had to do! Thanks a bunch. In return, I'll offer an interesting fact: In Cambodia it is believed that there is a giant snake in the sky. When the moon starts to "disappear" the people believe that the snake is trying to eat the moon. So, the only logical thing to do is take pots and pans and every night they go out and bang them trying to scare the snake off, especially during times of an eclipse.

Love the site, especially the page about the man in the moon. As for images in the craters, you haven't mentioned the hare, the crab or the toad. You can find out about them at http://www.crosswinds.net/~pignut/images.html I also have a page about the man in the moon at http://www.crosswinds.net/~pignut/Man_in_moon.html

It's great to see all the different things people see in the moon. If anyone reading this knows of any other sites that have these kind of images it would be great if you could email me :) Have fun, everyone! ^_^

I was looking for the figure that represents the weight of the moon. But I found "enter your earthly weight then see your moon weight" which I do not understand.
I will appreciate necessary clarification regarding this fact.
