Ahhhh, I finally know why the spider kept webbing
itself into its artificial burrow. On the morning of 06/02/02, I awoke
at about 6am
to find the spider had webbed itself into the
burrow 3 layers deep and was on it's back!
I will try to take pics of the progress and post
them here.
The pics are hard to make out because the camera
doesnt like to see through the webbing.
On it's back....

The following pictures are all in sequential
order by when they were taken during the actual molting process...

The pictures are very difficult to make out due
to the fact the spider is webbed into the artificial burrow.
The new skin comes out with a blueish tint in
the pictures.
In some of the pictures you can make out the
new white fangs on the left side if the picture.
The last two pictures are taken after all the
legs are out and doing the "twitching" thing I have read about.
The old skin is partially on top of the spider
on the right side of the pictures.
