Ruth Stafford Peale

Ruth Stafford Peale is the widow of Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and is co-founder, publisher, and chairman of the board of Guideposts. Although Mrs. Peale worked closely with her husband in all aspects of his ministry, she also has established a separate identity as a religious leader, public speaker, and author. She is a member of the board of directors of American Bible Society, Interchurch Center, Blanton-Peale Institute, and National Bible Association.

Mrs. Peale has written numerous articles appearing in Reader’s Digest, Woman’s Day, and Saturday Evening Post. She is the author of Secrets of Staying in Love, published by Thomas Nelson.

Mayor's Prayer Breakfast

The Mayor's prayer Breakfast is an annual service project of the Kiwanis Club of Huntsville. This event is held annually in the North Hall of the Von Braun Civic Center and is enthusiastically supported by civic leaders, churches and the citizens of Huntsville and surrounding communities.

* Tickets are sold to cover costs for individual meals. Other costs are covered from club operating funds coming from member dues. (Money from club's Travelogue and Pancake Breakfast fundraising activies goes to designated community services.)
