Serving the Children of the World
The
Kiwanis Club of Huntsville Challenges YOU!
The
Kiwanis Club of Huntsville has adopted a local project to assist the disabled
children in our area to realize their dreams of participating in organized
sports. Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is needed to
complete the surface of the field for play. The Kiwanis Club of
Huntsville will make available up to $30,000
in matching dollars in order to complete the Miracle Field for the benefit of
disabled children in our area. We challenge you to assist in this worthwhile
project by pledging anything from $10 to $5,000, and WE WILL MATCH IT!
All
donations go to the Miracle League of North Alabama, a 501 ( c ) 3
organization, for the purpose of completing the Miracle Field located in Brahan
Spring Park. Visit www.huntsvillemiracleleague.org
for field and league information.
The Miracle Field currently supports two seasons, Spring and Fall. Kids play Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights and they do have fun! Unfortunately, wheelchairs do not work well on the Alabama clay field. Together we can build a safe, disability friendly surface that will provide years of sports enjoyment. Please see the “before and after” photos of a Miracle League field as an example of what is to be built.
For
a $1,000 donation,
your banner will be placed on the outfield
fence displaying your support. For a $5,000 donation, your name as a supporter will be placed on a
large signboard designating field #6 as Miracle Field, as
well as your banner on the outfield fence. Any amount is appreciated!!
Your
gift is tax deductible, although the joy it brings is priceless!
Sincerely,
Bryan
