How much money is needed to complete the project?
$60,000 is the amount needed, possibly lower due to ongoing money being donated directly to the Miracle League. However, once our matching project is approved they will send donors our way to double the donation dollars.
How look will it take to build the field once the money
is raised?
Three months is the time period given for the total project, including fencing, to be completed.
Who will maintain the field after its construction?
The City of Huntsville maintains the current Miracle Field and will continue with the new field.
Where will sponsor banners be placed and how long will
they be displayed?
The outfield fencing will hold the 4 foot by 6 foot banners, they will be displayed up to 2 years.
How many kids use the current Miracle Field?
95 currently but that is expected to grow to 300 or more with the new playing surface.
What recognition will sponsors receive?
For $1,000, sponsors will receive a outfield banner and media recognition in Miracle League print and web site listings. For $5,000, sponsors will have their name listed on the Miracle Field sign board as a “Wall of Fame” sponsor, they also receive the outfield banner and media recognition as well.
What is the deadline for a sponsor commitment?
August 31 is our date.

Miracle Field Project
What is the average lifespan of the field surface?
The field is expected to last 20+ years. Painting of areas of the field would be required over time.
Where will the Miracle Field sign be placed?
This is an important area still unresolved, but all efforts will be made to have the sign as close to Drake Avenue as possible. The City of Huntsville dictates sign placements and will have the final approval of the sign placement.
Will vandalism be a concern at Miracle Field?
The City of Huntsville Police Department has regular patrols through the park. Vandalism has not been a major problem with the present field.
