Franklin, Tennessee -- Sept 23, 2000.  The bullet in center, bottom row was carved on.  You can see the knife marks on the left side of the indention. The point of the bullet has also been removed.

Site 7 October 28, 2000 The bullet on the left has been carved around the middle ring. U.S. .52 Caliber

Site 8 Tuscumbia, AL. These were found Jan. 13, 2001 in Tuscumbia, Al.  These are my first Pinfire cartridges.  There are two wheat back pennies and two Lincoln heads.

Franklin, Tn-- March 10,2001 This was our best day ever.  Between me and my hunting partner, we found a total of 29 bullets.  This was my first Maynard.  It is the bullet on the lower right. The coin is a 1907 "V" nickel.  Obviously not Civil War era, but also a first for me.

May 9, 2001 This is a bullet that I found near Barton, Al. The soldier carved this bullet around the base. This is a .56 Caliber Gardner (Confederate).

October 4, 2003 This is my first plate.
