Telnet Access
Telnet is a protocol used on the internet to communicate between
two systems. Generally, it is used for "unix" login shells and other things,
but fortunately, there are several TELNET links to FIDONET BBS SYSTEMS
online.
Currently there are THREE BBS systems I've found that provide FREE
telnet access AND provide Teen Echo to their callers. They also offer
a QWK reader for offline mail reading.
In order to use TELNET to access these BBS systems, it's wise to have
a telnet program you can access the systems with that supports
ANSI - the general "terminal type" of the fidonet bulletin board system.
