Why good boats go bad.
OK. So we paddle plastic boats because they last longer than fiberglass
and we don't want to fix fiberglass boats. Plastics can take more abuse. We
try to make the best boats possible out of the best materials on the market.
Our boats are now made out of Ultra Linear plastic, the strongest linear
plastic we can find. Ultra Linear offers incredible impact and scratch
resistance and also significantly improved hull rigidity, which means less
flex, greater speed and more control. Linear plastic is also recyclable and
repairable. Pretty cool huh?
The big point here is that we are trying to make the best boats possible.
But boating has changed and as paddlers run steeper and harder whitewater
they've found that there is only so much abuse a boat can take. Any boat can
be broken. No boat can take hard abuse without the abuse eventually taking
its toll. We cover manufacturers defects; three years limited. We constantly
strive to make a stronger boat that will last longer. We are using state of
the art materials. But, unfortunately, nothing lasts forever.
