This is the surname of James Arthur DAWSON (19 AUG 1965 - ), the founder of Alaga Heritage Foundation.
Earliest known ancestor: James McCord Dawson, b. 1803 in SC. He settled in Sonoraville, GA, by the late 1830's, and was among the initial trustees at the Wesley's Chapel Methodist Church there. You can look at his tombstone.
