AirGun is a software suite for analysing the performance of air rifles and pistols. It contains three main modules:
AirGun Version 7.5.2 (Dec 4, 2002) For Windows 98, NT 4.0, ME, 2000 and XP
This is an incremental / bug fix version over 7.5.1. A new Quick Calculator has been included in the Program Group.
Current users please note: It is recommended that you remove any previous 7.5 Version before installing this version. Back up any previous files you may have created in the Data folder, or move your Data folder away from the Program folder. (Use File > Open to set the path to the new Data folder.)
This is a large (2.61MB), self-extracting file for the program Setup. Download SetupAirGun.exe to a folder on your computer, then run SetupAirGun.exe. It will extract to a temporary folder and automatically run Setup.

New: Chronys
For field capture of data from Beta/Gamma Chrony and Combro cb-625 devices on any MS-DOS or Microsoft Windows computer.
If you have an older laptop computer lying around in the closet that cannot run Windows, this program is made for it. I have an old Toshiba 1000, 1988 vintage, running DOS 2.11 that inspired this program. An old DOS based computer is ideal for chronograph data capture; Windows is not required, but the program will happily run in a Command Window on a Windows computer.
A Computer Interface cable is required for the Shooting Chrony and a different Computer Interface cable is required for the Combro cb-625. This program requires either or both of these chronographs and the appropriate computer interface cable.
Connected to a Shooting Chrony, the program displays the shot string displayed on the Chrony as well as the computer calculated velocity, then shows the difference… inexpensive chronographs do not always compute the velocity accurately. My Chrony displays 6 fps per 500 fps higher than it should.
Connected to a Combro cb-625, the program displays calculated fps and mps velocities (which may be a little different to that displayed on the Chrono).
Muzzle energy in foot pounds and Joules is calculated for each shot. Averages for all results are continuously calculated and displayed. Shot string data can then be saved to a file and later imported to the AirGun program.

Chronys.exe This file is a self contained executable. Save it to a folder
on your computer and run it directly from there, or floppy it to an old laptop.
