ANNOUNCEMENTS
FLOWERS ARE GIVEN TODAY BY Ruth Wright to the Glory of God and in
honor of
Megan's birthday.
OUR LITURGIST TODAY is Jim Hutcheson.
TODAY WE ORDAIN Tina Grant and Jim Rogers as elders in the PCUSA. We also
install them, along with Ruth Wright, as members of the session, class of
2006.
BEGINNING MARCH 15, the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church will be
worshipping in our sanctuary on Saturdays. They will be using the building
from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each week.
NEXT SUNDAY IS CANNED FOOD SUNDAY. Please bring a non-perishable food item
to help support local mission programs and place it in the basket located in
the narthex.
ROUNDTABLE AND TEAM MEETINGS are next Sunday. The meeting times are
different because of the Stewardship Dinner. Roundtable meets at 5:00 p.m.
and Ministry Teams meet at 5:15 p.m.
MAKE PLANS TO ATTEND THE STEWARDSHIP EVENT - " Giving the Best Part " on
the evenings of March 16 and 17 at 6:00 p.m. On both evenings, we will
gather for dinner and then Rev. Randy Jackson will lead us in fellowship,
reflection, learning, and growth.
"TEENTIME" with MUSIC AND FELLOWSHIP for 7th-12th graders will meet every
Friday night through April 25 at the Blair/Bartholomae home, 105 Callaway
Dr. Please call Lynne Bartholomae (772-1974) if you are interested in
attending or if you have questions. The schedule for the Friday night
gatherings is:
5:30 p.m. - dinner (provided)
6:30 p.m. - music instruction
8:00-10:00 p.m. - movie or fun activity
