The above artists/groups are among my favorites, and the list goes on & on. I like a wide variety of music, but my main interests are in Rock & Roll, with some Country thrown in for good measure (due in a big part to my wife, Vicki, being a country music fan).  I'm also learning about new music (like Loreena McKennitt and the Indigo Girls) from my internet friends, so I guess I need to increase my music budget....

I haven't developed a taste for much alternative or rap music yet...and probably won't, since my musical tastes seem to have me stuck in the 60's and 70's. Don't have much of an ear for jazz either. I like classical, but only occasionally (by the way, did y'all know that Paul McCartney has 2 classical albums out...Standing Stone and Liverpool Oratorio?)  It still baffles me when I see someone my age who listens to classical music all the time, when I KNOW they must have listened to the same good old rock music I listened to in my high school and college years. Maybe some folks get tired of it, but I haven't. It's probably my fault, though, 'cause I still don't feel like I've grown up yet.... For me, I look in the mirror and see the same guy who had fun partying in college and flying in the Air Force. Sure, I have a few more aches and pains than I used to, but I'm still young at heart.
