FRANZ KIESLICH - Born about 1814 in Germany. Listed on Wisconsin 1850 Federal Census as Francis Kiesligech. Occupation listed as Silver Smith in 1850. Wife listed as Josephine born about 1827 in Germany. On birth registration for son Conrad in 1866 Franz's occupation is listed as Druggist. It appears Franz served in the Union Army during the Civil War in Company H, 9th Wisconsin Infantry. There is also Frederick Kieslich serving in Company J, 9th Wisconsin Infantry. Is Frederick brother of Franz? When did Franz immigrate to United States? Where in Germany was Franz born. When and where did he marry Josephine?


CONRAD KIESLICH - It is believed he was born Oct 1865 in either Wisconsin or Michigan. Date of death unknown. Parents unknown. Siblings unknown. Believed to be of German decent. Married (1st) to Ona May LAYTON, 9 Aug 1890 in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. Children: Henreitta Julia, born 19 Feb 1893, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. Married (2nd) to Susie __?__, abt 1897. Susie believed born Mar 1869 in Germany. Children: Mimmie, born Sep 1888, Mississippi. Married (3rd) to Maud __?__, abt 1905. Maud believed born abt 1890, Arkansas. Children: George, born 6 Feb 1906, Michigan; Frederick, born abt 1907, Missouri; Carl, born abt 1909, Missouri.

GOFF Brothers; William Alfred, Elmer L., Joseph Thomas, and George Allan

It is believed this photograph was taken in the early 1900's. Possibly taken in or around Hepler, Crawford Co., Kansas but most likely Baker City, Baker Co., Oregon. William Alfred GOFF, born 25 Sep 1891, Hepler, Crawford Co., Kansas. Elmer L. GOFF, born 12 Oct 1893, Hepler, Crawford Co., Kansas. Joseph Thomas GOFF, born 30 Jan 1898, Hepler, Crawford Co., Kansas. George Allan GOFF, born 30 Oct 1902, Hepler, Crawford Co., Kansas. Parents are George Allen or Elmer GOFF and Margery Marian Harrison. Brothers William and George settled in Baker City in the early 1900's. Brother Elmer settled in Longview, Cowlitz Co., Washington.


This photograph is of the Joseph and Armina (LEBEAU) ETHIER family. Two of their three children are inlcuded. Son Edward is not in picture. The name of the gentleman with mustasche seated on the right is not known. It may be Joseph's father Gilbert (John). Or it could be Armina's father. This gentleman many also be the brother of either Joseph or Armina. Does anyone recognize the gentleman on the right?? Please help us identify this gentleman.
