All programs start at 6:30 p.m., in the Gathering Place, unless otherwise noted.
July 4 - Chillin' n Grillin' - Cookout at Jim Drake's house, 3703 Fearn St. We'll supply the hamburgers and hotdogs, you supply a covered dish to share or a dessert and lets PAAAAARTY. Meet at 4:00 at Jim's. If you have a lawn game bring it along. Directions: Governor's Dr. to top of Monte Sano. Left at light (Monte Sano Blvd.) follow past the Firehouse and two churches. Make the first right after the Methodist Church (Dennison). Go to the stop sign and make a right. First house on the left. 534-6583.
July 11 - Community Chorus - Our own Bill Lloyd is bringing a group to do a skit from Cinderella for us. This will be a very entertaining evening, please plan to attend. We will also be going as a group to the Community Chorus presentation of Cinderella on July 17. Please call Pat McCrory for reservations, 882-6637. Afterglow is at Wings off Airport Rd.
July 18 - Historic Tour of First United Methodist Church - Nancy Van Valkenburg will be giving us a tour of one of Huntsville's oldest churches. FUMC is over 200 years old and has been at 120 Green St. for over 100 years. Please join us, it will be most informative. Afterglow is at Logan's Roadhouse off Airport Rd.
July 25 - Pizza and a Movie - Come on down for Sunday night at the movies. Please bring $3.00 to share the cost of the pizza. An evening of entertainment with some friends and some pizza. How could you go wrong? | Other Activities for July
July 10 - Birthday Breakfast - Meet at the Golden Corral on University at 10:00 a.m. (in front of Madison Square Mall)
July 16 - Our Generation - Invites you to an evening of dancing at the Knights of Colombus on Leeman Ferry Rd. Lessons from 8:00 to 8:45 p.m. Mixer dances and a dance demo will also be featured. Admission is $6.00. There will be all types of music and dancing. Please come on down. Visit their website.
July 17 - Cinderella - A Community Chorus presentation. Please contact Pat McCrory for reservations, 882-6637.
