inspirational program in the Wesley Center Fellowship Hall.

Mid-Week Ministries - A variety of opportunities
for all ages held on
Wednesdays from the first Wednesday in September and
continuing until May.
Mid-Week Ministries begin with a fellowship supper at 5:15 p.m., followed
by Bible studies and special
interest groups from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Reservations for supper can be made by calling the church (539-5738)
before 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
M&M's-(Mature Methodist Members) is for persons 55+ (maried or single). They meet the first Friday of the month at 11:00 for lunch and a program. They a sponser a variety of
trips and other events.
Supper Clubs
- Informal monthly supper groups that meet in the
homes of members
or lunch bunch groups which meet monthly in local restaurants. These groups
are an
excellent way to get to know other members of the church.
Registration takes place in November and
December. Organization takes
place in January at a joint banquet.
Prayer Groups
- These groups offer prayers for those with special
concerns
and persons in the hospitals. Groups meet weekly for prayer, study, and
fellowship.
Altar Guild - This group is
responsible for the care and furnishing of
the Sanctuary. They serve in
teams of 2 or 3 persons for one month each year.
Ushers - These are volunteers (women and men) who are
used at
both Sunday services and for special events. Ushers are assigned to
the same service on the same
Sunday of the month. Call Loren Gross, head
usher, (881-6909) to volunteer.
Walk to Emmaus - The Walk to Emmaus is a three-day experience at Camp Summatanga which takes a New Testament
look at Christianity as a life style. It is highly structured program designed to strengthen and renew
the faith of Christian people, and through them their families, congregations
and the world in which they live. Emmaus is a combined effort of
laity and clergy toward the renewal of the church. Call Janice Uselton at 859-2153 for more information.
