I am many things to many people. I am wife, mom, grandma, sister, sister-in-law, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, friend, neighbor, teacher, colleague. I've been married to Allen for thirty-two plus years, and we are the proud parents of two beautiful grown, married daughters -- Shannon and Meghan. I have been teaching middle school English since the beginning of the 1976 school year, but no, I am not ready to retire yet. When I have time for my own interests, I love to read and sew. I read for fun, nothing too serious after reading hundreds of seventh grade papers each week. I also am fascinated by quilting. I am certainly no expert, but I am addicted to it.
