My latest TrainGIF endeavor entitled "The Bum Job". The "The Bumbjob" was at a time, the name given to the local switcher jobs in and around town. I'm not sure what the entomology is of that name, it's the name used by a now retired brakeman friend of mine, when referring to this particular job.

The scene depicts the NS double track and industrial spur, crossing S Montgomery Av in Sheffield, Alabama. The industrial spur connects to a house track and shipping dock, once the floor and foundation of Southern Railway's Sheffield store where my Grandfather worked. the spur also once provided access to cotton seed warehouses, a stove foundry and currently, a tie yard where local and regionally forested timber is stored in the raw for shipment to the treatment plants. The scene is looking directly north on Montgomery Avenue.
