Three Trucks, Three Bikes, Two Brothers
I have the biggest bike but the smallest truck. Wonder if that means anything?

Don and Lonnie
I can't tell them apart.
|
My Green Beast
Plenty of mud puddles on the trails. None very deep. Many are slick with hidden rocks and roots.

Unusually empty parking lot.

Less empty, but still not full.
Most of these are ATV riders.

The Main Office (outhouse)
No running water on site. No phones. No electricty. Cellphone coverage is weak. One seat outhouse.

The Fun Is About To Start
Among other things the yellow sign says, "Control Your Speed." Presumably its OK as long as you have things under control.

Please Turn Right at the Stop Sign
These trails are officially bi-directional. Popular convention is to turn right at this entrance and ride the trails counter-clockwise. Yet a lot of bikes and ATVs ride the other direction and often appear at a bad time.
|
Signs
Two types of signs used to mark the trails. Notice the bidirectional arrow on the brown post. The white square is usually turned so that it appears as a diamond. The two loops are red and white. White is the big 11 mile loop, red forks about 1.5 miles to the right of the entrance for about 5 miles which bypasses about 1/4 mile of white trail.
