recent activity our family has had as well as the upcoming
events. LAST UPDATED:
10/14/95 I had a tournament in karate. This tournament was the first tournament I have ever participated in. I received a third in form and a second in sparring.
10/19/95 My sisters ran in the City Cross Country meet last Thursday. Their Teams both won first in the city for public schools. Leah was 6th overall for the Freshman Girls and 5th for her team. Angela and Tammy were 20th and 21st for the Varsity and 12th and 13th for their teams. (The top five runners on each team score points for their 'Place' with the lowest team score winning.)
10/28/95 My sisters ran in the ABS cross country meet. Leah got 10th with the time of 15:32 for two miles, running 5th for Grissom JV. The JV team got 1st. Tammy got 16th with a time of 20:02 finishing 6th for varsity. Angela got 17th with a time of 20:07 for the varsity 2 1/2 mile race. The varsity team won for varsity girls.
10/28/95 I had another karate tournament in Attalla,Al. I received a second in form and a first in sparring. I had to compete against 2 other people in form. In sparring I won by default. I did not have to fight in other words. I believe I didn't fight because of the weight difference or something.
11/4/95 Tammy, Angela, and Leah had a cross country meet. Leah got 28th over all and 4th for the team. Tammy got 51st out of 140 overall and 12th for the team. Angela got 67th out of 140 overall and 15th for the team. The meet was held in Scottsburo,Alabama where it was probably 40 degrees outside and there were sevral people running. The running was on the road most of the way except for the end at the stadium at the high school.
11/10/95 Leah had a state champion cross country meet. She received a 24th overall and 5th for the team. Grissom's freshmen girls cross country was the runner up for state champion. Tammy and Angela were managers for the varsity team. The meet was held in Birmingham,Alabama in the Magic City Running Park.
12/2/95Tammy and Angela had there 16th birthdays! We went to Shogun Japanese Steak and Sushi Bar to celebrate. They aren't driving yet but they have there permit and they just have to go down to the courthouse. After Shogun we went to Q-Zar and played two games of lazer tag. I'd like to make a little note that I had top score for my team 2 of 2 times out of about 7-10 people. After that we came home and had cake and ice cream. Pictures are coming soon!
11/26/95 we went to Florida to visit relatives. We went to the go cart place that my cousin works at called Jungle Village. We stayed at our grandparents house and had Thanksgiving dinner there as well. We will be visiting there for the Chrismas holidays as well. Happy Holidays!
12/16/95 Tammy and Angela got their drivers licenses. They now can drive the Neon to school. They are all playing on the same volleyball team along with Jason's sister Terry. Jason is Tammy's boyfriend.
12/26/95 We went down to Florida to visit relatives. While we were down there we stayed at our grandparents house. While we were there my cousins Braun, Andy, and Jamie. They came and stayed over night.
1/12/95 It is the weekend and we have a 3 day weekend! We got snowed in Monday and went to school at 10:00AM on Tuesday. I got two new games for christmas! One was Doom1 shareware with Doom2 registered on one CD. The other game was Descent. Descent is a game where you fly around in a mine and your goal is to destroy the reactor. Its' really fun and the graphics are in 3D. The graphics are so good that you can get virdigo if you don't blink enough. I apoligise for not updating this as much as I should have. I have been busy figuring out new games and setting stuff up.
I also got a new book called HTML and CGI unleashed. It tells me how to write scripts for input boxes and visit counters and all sorts of other things. It came with a cd that has all the scripts I will need. It has been what I have spent most of my time doing. I will soon have a visit counter on the main page that works. I am still trying to get it to work. If it works you will not always be visitor number one like the old one. I hope we can get it to work.
Tammy and Angela are driving now. PHOTOs is the area where you can view the pictures of the neon as well as other pictures. They now drive to and from school every day. I ride my bike to and from school. I can not get rides from them because they have track until around five and I would have to wait until then to get picked up. It is quicker for me to ride my bike home.
1/20/96 This weekend Tammy, Angela, and Leah had a track meet. Leah got 4th in high jump, Leah's 4x4 got 1st, herr distance medely relay got 2nd, her 4x2 team got 5th, she got 7th in long jump. Angela and Tammy's 4x2 team got first, 4x4 got 3rd. They had there second meet of the indoor track season. I will FINALLY be testing for my yellow belt next saturday 1/27/96. I think I will get my yellow belt. There is one Karate tournament planned for soon but I don't know much about it yet.
2/6/96 Most of this week we have been iced out of school. There is ice everywhere after a big ice storm hit the area with sleet and little if any snow. It is fun to go sledding in this ice but driving is slippery on it. Right now the town is shut down except for some people going to work because their businus can't afford to be shut down again. With me being stuck home it will give me time to work on the web page as well as time to figure out the forms. I have a new netname for Prodigy. Now E-Mail me webcreator@prodigy.com. It is the same as the old one but it is the address you will recieve mail from me at.
2/10/96 Tammy, Angela, and Leah had there state Track meet. It
was the last of their indoor season.
3/29/96 I am sorry I have not updated this page as much as I should have. I was unable to update it for a couple weeks. Thank You for your patience.
Just recently I had my birthday and got some nice things. One of the things was a portable CD changer that will hold three disks. I also got a lot of software. I got a game called Terminal Velocity, Borland Turbo C++, Visual Basic, and a Thrust Master (Joystick).

4/26/96 Not much is new. Tammy, Angela, and Leah are running outdoor track and I am in Karate. Everyone is doing well. We just recently got a NICE Grandfather Clock from our grandparents. That's all for now.
4/27/96 Tammy, Angela, and Leah competed in the section 5 qualifiers for state at Milton Frank Stadium here in Huntsville, Alabama on 4/26 and 4/27. Both varsity and freshmen girls teams got first place in the meet.
Leah got 2nd place in high jump, in 300m hurdles she got 5th, in 4x400 she got 3rd place. Leah is going to state for high jump and 4x400. She also competed in the long jump.
Angela got 6th in 100m hurdles, 6th in 300m varsity hurdles. She had her best jump this year in long jump but didn't make finals. She had 3rd in 4x400 and qualifies for state in that event.
Tammy finished 4th in the 400m dash, she made finals and 5th in 4x100, she was on the 3rd place team in 4x400 and made state. Tammy and Angela were on the same 4x400 team.
5/29/96 We are about to get out of school. We have recently opened the pool and have been enjoying swimming. This summer my sisters and I are going to be in swim team. I am not yet sure if Tammy and Angela are going to be on swim team. They have not decided yet. I will still be involved in Karate going to the tournaments and sparring as well as doing my form.
7/12/96 I have not updated the page in almoast a month and I owe it to all of you to get you up to date. The first week of june we went to Cancun, Mexico for a week. The result we stayed at was one of the royal resorts. I hope to have pictures on the web as soon as possible.
I had a Karate tournament on June 22, 1996. I got a second place in sparring out of four people. I did not place in forms this time. I recently wrote an About the Author page. That page has information about me and a picture of me as well.
We are all on the swim team this summer. We will all be in the city swim meet next weekend and I will try to post results. I will be at summer camp next week so I will not be able to answer E-Mail next week.

I hope it will help everyone when trying to find out when the page is updated. Please E-Mail other people in the family who might be interested in signing up.
I have prepared a page with pictures of the Cancun Trip. I hope you will enjoy the photos. In case you don't know on June 1 we went on a trip to Cancun, Mexico with our grandparents and our cousin.
Soon I hope to have something available to make it so YOU can add your own Events to this page! I hope to have this as soon as possible. I will be testing different methods of doing this and it will be out soon.
8/10/96 This weekend I had a Karate tournament in Huntsville, Alabama. It was on the UAH college campus. In this tournament I won TWO FIRST PLACES!! I got a first in Kata (forms) and a first in sparring (fighting). I now have two 5' trophies for the first places. You can see the Pictures of my trophies now!!
8/30/96 The family isn't doing anything big this weekend that I know of yet. I will however be going to the USS Alabama battleship this weekend for a Boy Scout trip this weekend. USS Alabama is a retired battleship in Mobile Bay. We will stay in the crew quaters reserved for the Boy Scouts. We will be there from Saturday through Monday.
Everybody started back to school last week. Yes, all of us started back to school last Wednesday and we are all four at the same school! We are off Monday, August 33 for labor day. Other than that not much is happening this weekend.
11/9/96 Last night we went to the AKC (Alabama Karate Circut) awards banquet and got my state champion awards for karate tournaments! I got a state champion award for Fighting and Kata in the tournaments this season. This years season is now over but there will be more tournaments that are exhibitions and do not count until next February when the new season starts.
In the state finals tournament which was the last tournament of the year and is double points I got a 2nd in fighting and a 3rd in kata. I don't think I had a very good tournament that time but I got state champion and that's what I wanted the whole season. I will have more time to work on my advancement in the offseason and I hope to be getting my green belt soon!
12/5/96 I have a concert for band this Friday night and Saturday I will be marching in the parade with the band. I will soon be having my green belt test. I think it will be on the 14th of December and I hope to be getting promoted more often now.
