This is the replacement for FPO. It's available for a 30 day trial download from their website.

http://www.franklincovey.com/oneplace/trialversion.html

If you haven't tried the product that it is based (Enfish Onespace), it's pretty cool. I'm downloading the FC Trial version now and will install and test it out this week. I'll update the board with my experiences.

By the way (Buy the Way?), the price is 69.95 on their website. Not too steep for an upgrade, but steep for an upgrade from FPO which never did work right.

Well, it installed well, but:

No FC Extensions in Task list
No FC Daily planning Tool
No FC Roles, Goals, etc
No FC except links to FranklinPlanner.com and some FC Websites.
No new Palm Apps/Conduits

Looks like a plain vanilla Enfish OneSpace product to me, except for the FC Web links. Oh well, off it goes.

If anyone else tries it, let me know what you thought.

Best,

Kurt

You gotta love a company that doesn't listen to its customers, and succeeds despite that fact.

Why would you introduce a product that has none of the unique FC planner tools? And expect customers to welcome to product? Does FC really think we are that gullible? Shame on you!

There are times where FC reminds me of the menacing, sword bearing, "bad-guy" chasing Indiana Jones... I'm just waiting for someone to pop one off, and kill FC.

The longer FC waits to address these issues, the closer the competition gets to supplanting their functionality. Just wait, intellectual property isn't as well protected as it used to be. Soon, somebody will be along to replace you... will you be ready to do battle?

I must have missed something and I don't see the potential for it to replace FPO unless it gets new function.

Has there been an announcement or hint it will replace FPO?

BTW, the 'partnership' is old news - it was announced I think in February. But I guess the product only recently became prominent on the website.

.. and if your firewall blocks "akamai", the new king of privacy invasion and browsing data collection, then you cannot even get into www.franklincovey to see it.

....
While just one opinion among many, I hope this information was helpful...
