Two Hearts

Interlocking, interwoven
maybe not what I'd've chosen
but contented now to intermingle
limbs on couches to video jingle.

Disappearing, flying, fleeting
Two hours each day, adding meaning
Two hearts entangled, sitting, hanging
Holding, squeezing, sharing, wrangling.

Special times, cast solid in gold
No 14, 18, 21 karat to hold
Nothing shiny this Valentine
But everyday I'm yours, won't you be mine?
