Thanks go to Lisa (Albert) Paulus and Kim Schludecker for most
of the organizing.
On Friday evening a number of us toured the
old High School and then toured the new CLCS school up on the far
edge of Mayville. That was one reason for making a bigger deal
out of the 20th year rather than waiting for the 25th. The old
school was likely to be torn down at any point as it was being
purchased by Chautauqua Institution and assumed to become a
parking lot. Hopefully the 2 exotic red maple trees planted by
the class of 1980 back in 1976 would be spared.
On Saturday evening was the main shindig, a full dinner at
Snug's. There was a good turn out and many that couldn't make
it in person sent lengthy notes. Shame on any of you that
could have been there and weren't -- we missed you.
On Sunday we took ourselves and our kids over to Midway
Park for a picnic and some fun.
If you see any misplaced names or know of a married name one
of the women was using at this time, please let me know and
I will update this page.
Enjoy, Chip.
