About This Site
Computer Lore
My hobby is teaching computing skills to senior citizens. A recent survey found that the majority of users of personal computers in the home was by persons over the age of 55. This group of citizens have the time and resources necessary to enjoy the wonders of personal computing and it's associated telecommunications features. This portion of our Site will consist of copies of the handouts created for various classes being taught at various locations. My time in teaching and presenting the material is all volunteered and not for profit. The material presented has been collected from many sources over a period of several years. Credit to sources quoted directly has been given whenever possible. Some of the original sources may have been lost over time and the various editing processes which have occurred. There are many good references for all aspects of personal computing on the Internet. Most of the material has been gleaned from these many resources.
