6. Whatever
The Internet is Worldwide Shared Resources. It requires a lot of practice to become able to locate your interest on the Internet. If you have trouble creating items to find or things to do the following list may help. It may also give you ideas of other things to look for. If you start making a personal list of things you enjoy you will soon find that you will have no trouble using the WEB for your enjoyment and fulfillment. This concept of shared information is truly mind boggling. The more you use it and understand it the more useful it becomes. Stay with it. HAVE FUN... It has been estimated that Internet users in the US will increase from 30 million in 1997 to over 102 million by 2002.
1. What is "Third Age", are you a part of it? ___________________
2. National Public Radio is on the NET. Can you find the Jan. 15, 1998 article on "Biotech Breakthroughs" in npr's January 98 files? Can you hear it as well as read it? ______________________________________________
3. Can you find a recipe for rhubarb pie? ______________________
4. What or where is Aorangi? Many interesting finds originate in a dictionary's list of names. ___________________________________
5. Did John Chapman like apples? What other seeds did he plant besides apples? ____________________________________
6. What was the estimated population of Tenochtitlan when Cortes arrived? ____________________________________________
7. John Rosemond has articles in our local paper. He also has a WEB site. Can you find it? __________________________________
8. Canada has may good WEB resources. One of these is www.canoe.ca . Can you use that site to locate a technical article about seniors using the Internet?
