File Transport Software allows you to manage files on a remote host provided you have the necessary authorization.
For most PC users their Internet Provider issues them an account password and provides limited file space on their server.
This is where you can store information for others to retrieve.

    Mark-up Language

    A Mark-up Language is simply coded information;
    it has been coded with "Tags" surrounding it which instruct various computers, with different operating systems, how to interpret the information such that it can be understood.

    Tools for Creation

    Professional programmers have made this job of constructing all these TAGs very simple for us. We use software known as a "generator" or "interpreter software" to do the dirty work for us. All we need to do is the tasks we are familiar with, what we do every day in "Word Processing".


    File Transfer Protocol

    The protocol which computer's use to transfer files which do not need to be displayed upon being received is called ftp. There are many software applications which will assist you in transferring files.
