Treasures of the Titans, previously on view at the Forbes Magazine Galleries, is now at the Field Museum, Chicago. Features jewels and accessories designed for and owned by icons from the realm of art, politics, entertainment and industry. Two Fabergé objects from the collection of the late Malcolm Forbes are included.

February 14, 2007
Eighty-two Fabergé objects and an assortment of miniature eggs from a group of Southern collectors is the new Fabergé venue at the The New Orleans Museum of Art. For more details: Fabergé Research Site Recent Discoveries and the January-March 2007 issue of the Arts Quarterly.

Gray Collection, formerly at the New Orleans Museum of Art, opens at the Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art in Nashville, Tennessee.

 

New opening date: October, 2008
Artistic Luxury: Fabergé - Tiffany - Lalique is a comparative study of three of the greatest jewelry and luxury goods designers at the turn of the 20th century. The Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio, the location for this venue, is currently undergoing an extensive renovation. Venue moves to San Francisco in January 2009.

March 9-18, 2007 Maastricht, The Netherlands A La Vieille Russie of New York City and Wartski of London will be at The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF). A rare opportunity for Fabergé enthusiasts to see objects up close and talk to the leading dealers.

Publications  

The bi-lingual Russian journal Antiq.info includes articles about Fabergé. Selected articles from back-issues are available online.

June 2006 issue of the Russian journal Antiques has an article about the Denisov-Uralski workshop which produced hardstone objects and may have supplied Fabergé. Authors are Tatiana Muntian, Armoury Museum, and Mrs. Pestova, Perm State Gallery, Russia.
