"Any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile. I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction...'I served in the United States Navy.' " John F. Kennedy.
I was born in West View, Kentucky, November 23, 1936. At age 18, I joined the U.S. Navy in May 1955. Married to my lovely wife Dixie in 1959, have 3 wonderful children David, Karen, and Timothy, and three great in-laws Dana, John, and Pam. They all come with seven energetic grandchildren, Lara, Jordan, Gabriel, Hannah, Michelle, Jennifer and Holly. I retired from the Navy in 1977. I began working for the Tennessee Valley Authority in 1978 as a Maintenance Specialist and then in 1984 the Macintosh computer was born. I just had to have one. I purchased my first Macintosh in 1985 and have been fond of them ever since. I now use the Mac to keep a data base and write letters to Gideons, Pastors and others related to the Gideon Ministry.
