The Cayman Islands are now known for their fabulous dive sites and are located near some of the deepest waters in the Caribbean. In the past, however, pirates favored these islands for there astonishing abundance of turtles, a shipboard delicacy. Today the pirate invasion takes place every Late October on Grand Cayman and is an rousing, swashbuckling event.
Every October,several friends and I invaded the Grand Cayman Pirates Week Festival as well as halloween and our picture story is below on several pages. Hope you enjoy them because that week of being a "Pirate" was one of the best weeks of my life.
